SUMMER IS HERE!! And as the temperatures rise you will need a handy list of fun spots to cool off and get your chill on. Check out this list of local favorites:

HEAD FOR A SWIM | Lake Temescal and Lake Anza in Tilden Park have lifeguards on duty 11-6 daily throughout the summer with park access for $3.50 or less per person.

ICE CREAM | Fenton's is the obvious Oakland institution but my family and I love to stroll up to Curbside Creamery to keep it super local!

TIKI BARS | On those nights where you are really feeling tropical, cool off at Kona Club or Trader Vic's, home of the original mai tai!
